BMI and Kane Beatz Help Aspiring Producers Build the Beat
BMI recently staged its third Building the Beat workshop, inviting aspiring producers to submit their work for the chance at a critique by producer Kane Beatz. Beatz, who has worked on projects with Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Young Money, Gucci Mane, and Trey Songz, offered pointers for the selected beat-makers during the session, held October 8 during the A3C Festival in Atlanta.
