A Million for Marty Dodson
BMI recently saluted songwriter Marty Dodson, whose song “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven” has surpassed the one-million performances mark. Dodson co-wrote the Kenny Chesney single with fellow BMI hit-maker Jim Collins. Dodson’s other chart-climbing work has been recorded by artists such as Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington, George Strait, Craig Morgan, Billy Ray Cyrus, and many more.
