Support for Songwriter Equity Act Grows in Congress
Congressman David N. Cicilline (D-RI) (@davidcicilline) has joined as co-sponsor of H.R. 4079, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2014, which was introduced by the original sponsor, Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) (@RepDougCollins), in February. The lead Democratic co-sponsor, Hakeem Jeffries, and Cicilline, along with Collins, all serve on the House Judiciary Committee, which oversees intellectual property legislation.
