Emmy-nominated composer, Miriam Cutler is passionate about scoring documentaries: Emmy winners, Academy Award nominees, Sundance winners, and a Peabody. She participates in several distinguished organizations: as a long-serving board member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists; a member of Motion Picture Academy’s Documentary Branch; an advisor for the Sundance Institute Documentary Composer Lab and the U.S. State Department’s American Film Showcase for which she recently traveled to Malaysia.
