Songwriter Equity Act Picks Up Additional Co-Sponsor
Congressman Howard Coble (R-NC) (@HowardCoble) has co-sponsored HR 4079, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2014. A longtime friend to songwriters, with deep familiarity with their creative work and their career needs, Coble hails from Greensboro in the 6th Congressional District of North Carolina. Congressman Coble serves on the House Judiciary Committee and is Chairman of the Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet. He is also co-Chair of the Creative Rights Caucus (@RespectCreators) and a member of the Songwriters Caucus.
