BMI is very proud to congratulate UK songwriter/producer Inflo who co-wrote the acclaimed project that took the prestigious Mercury Prize 2020 for Album of the Year - Kiwanuka. Earlier this month, Inflo received the coveted Ivor Novello Award for Best Album for co-writing Little Simz’s Grey Area. These recent wins build on Inflo’s track record of accomplishments. Notably, in 2017, he won another Ivor Novello Award for co-writing “Black Man In A White World,” which earned Best Song Musically and Lyrically.
The Mercury Prize recognizes and celebrates musical artistic achievement in the UK, while the Ivors honor the most impactful work created by the UK’s songwriting and composing community.
