No Time ‘Wasted’ in Toasting Carrie Underwood’s Fourth No. 1

Posted in News on May 18, 2007

BMI honored the co-writers of Carrie Underwood’s latest No. 1 “Wasted” with a roof top party yesterday at its Music Row offices. BMI songwriters Marv Green and Troy Verges, along with hit maker Hillary Lindsey, formed the songwriting super troupe responsible for the BMI country phenom’s record-breaking fourth trip to the top of the charts.

A crowd strewn with Nashville’s top songwriters, publishers and heavy hitters cheered as the songwriters, Underwood and other “Wasted” participants were feted for a job well done.
