On the eve of the Latin GRAMMY Awards and in the spirit of philanthropy, Broadcast Music, Inc., Naked Monkey Entertainment and M3Live Concert Hall presented ‘Write On Vegas’ for the benefit of Education Through Music – Los Angeles (ETM–LA). ETM–LA promotes and provides music in disadvantaged schools as part of the core curriculum in order to enhance students’ academic achievement and overall development. They also partner with low-income elementary and middle schools that lack the resources for a school-wide music program and collaborate with school and district leaders to customize a high quality, sequential music program that serves every child for the entire year.

Hosted by on-air talent and Emmy winner Carlos Alvarez, a captivated audience filled the venue and enjoyed performances by Alicastro, Diana Fuentes, Piva, Raquel Sofia and 2014 Latin GRAMMY nominees Periko y Jessi Leon, Doctor Krápula and Vega. In between each artist’s set, dance music from Mr. Pauer kept the crowd going.

The phrase “Write On” holds significant meaning for the two presenters. BMI’s “Write On” campaign reinforces its ongoing dedication to serve songwriters, composers, music publishers and businesses, along with its pledge to add value to the evolving music industry. Naked Monkey Entertainment, alongside the nonprofit organization “Write On Movement,” have been promoting positivity in the arts and music, empowering a wide range of human-interest causes by espousing the writing of positive words in daily tasks and routines based on the works of Dr. Masaru Emoto.
