Industry Spotlight: IAMSOUND Records
IAMSOUND Records is an indie label with an eclectic taste in music, but it still retains the pop sensibility that drives a very specific aesthetic. Because of this, IAMSOUND has been profiled in outlets such as Nylon, LA Weekly, NME, 944 Magazine, Remix Magazine, and XLR8R Magazine. Distributed by RED/Sony, IAMSOUND is led by Niki Roberton, the former Partizan-signed music video director, with Paul Tao of AbsolutePunk.net. The label was also recently named one of 10 “Indie Labels to Watch In 2010” by Billboard.
