Industry Spotlight: CMJ

Now in its 33rd year, CMJ Music Marathon is an important platform for the discovery of new music. Every fall, CMJ invades New York City with over 1,400 artist performances, filling more than 80 of the city’s popular venues, nightclubs and theaters. In addition, CMJ offers panels with renowned speakers, seminars, Q&As, nighttime parties, meet and greets, mixers and special events, such as an Entertainment Business Law Seminar and College Day, programmed especially for college and non-commercial radio programmers. This year, the festival is taking place October 15 - 19. Over 120,000 fans are expected to attend, a mix of entertainment industry professionals, college radio tastemakers, bloggers, press and musicians from around the world.
