Industry Spotlight: Bedlam Music Management
Bedlam Music Management and Dine Alone Records are located in the east end of Toronto Ontario but started out in the small town of St. Catharines. Joel Carriere, owner and founder, began managing his long time friends in the band Alexisonfire and with their success was encouraged to expand his management roster under the Bedlam Music umbrella. In early 2005, Dine Alone Records was born. The indie’s first release was City and Colour’s full-length debut album Sometimes. Today, Bedlam Music manages Alexisonfire, Black Lungs, City and Colour, The Coppertone, Dinosaur Bones, Moneen and The Sheepdogs. Bedlam is also known for breaking artists such as Bedouin Soundclash, Attack in Black and Arkells. Dine Alone Records’ current roster includes Alexisonfire, City and Colour, Tokyo Police Club, Hot Hot Heat and James Vincent McMorrow.
