‘Industry Insiders’ Panel Focuses on Publishing Royalties

BMI, in conjunction with Latin Street Music, held its latest installment of the Industry Insider Series on May 16 at Carnivale in Chicago. Moderated by Porfirio Piña, BMI’s Director of Latin Music, the panel featured noted professionals who provided information on how to generate income from publishing royalties and how to invest and grow those royalties.

Guest speakers included Jerry Vila, BMI’s Associate Director Latin Music, Puerto Rico; Alex Hernandez, Sun Trust Bank, Sports & Entertainment-Music Division; Yvonne Gomez, peermusic West Coast/Mexico Latin Creative Director; entertainment attorney Heather Nelson,; and Andres Meneses, President Latin Street Music, Inc.
