Indie Spotlight: The Stationary Set

Posted in News on July 21, 2010

The Stationary Set came together with a  very simple idea: to write songs of a greater nature that the band found appealing and attainable without sacrificing any content, without dumbing anything down or being afraid to be loud or blatant. With an EP, the group entered the indie/pop realm in 2008. Virally melodic, epic in nature, they have injected elements into the traditional 4-minute pop song that indie-rock fans haven’t heard in quite a while. The Stationary Set’s live act has always been the band’s best pick-up line, and the boys will be playing harder than ever all through this year.
