Congressman Ted Lieu Signs on as SEA Co-Sponsor

Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA-33) (@RepTedLieu) has joined lead Democratic co-sponsor Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-8) (@RepJeffries) in supporting H.R. 1283, the Songwriter Equity Act of 2015. Introduced in March by Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA-9) (@RepDougCollins), the bill continues to garner support from Members of Congress. Congressman Lieu is the Democratic Freshman Class President for the 114th Congress and serves on the Budget and Oversight & Government Reform Committees in the House of Representatives. Congressman Lieu’s co-sponsorship is great news for BMI affiliates in California and nationwide.
