CBGB Music & Film Festival Set to Rock New York City

The second annual CBGB Music and Film Festival will be invading nearly 175 venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn, October 8 – 13, 2013, with a huge multistage FREE concert in Times Square, Saturday, October 12. Live music and DJs will perform from multiple outdoor stages on Broadway, while interactive installations such as a music equipment expo, a skateboard half-pipe, rock climbing, a record fair, a silent disco and dozens of other attractions will fill Times Square to entertain music lovers of all ages.

In addition, hundreds more bands playing punk, pop, hardcore, thrash, electro, Americana, country, experimental and more will perform in venues across Manhattan and Brooklyn as part of the six-day Music and Film Festival, with a special BMI showcase on October 10 at the Living Room, 154 Ludlow Street, in Manhattan, featuring Shannon Labrie, Justin Baron, Katie Costello, Lily and the Parlour Tricks, and Julia Weldon.
