Carla Morrison Treats BMI LA Office to Acoustic Set
Latin GRAMMY award-winner Carla Morrison visited the BMI Los Angeles office on Thursday, April 21, to perform a few songs from her Coachella set for staff and invited media. This marks Morrison’s first time performing at the famous music festival in the Coachella Valley of California. The indie pop singer/songwriter played selections from her critically-acclaimed album, Amor Supremo, which was named one of Billboard’s 10 Best Latin Albums of 2015. Some of the songs she performed included “Flor Que Nunca Fui,” “Vez Primera,” “Hasta Piel,” and “No Vuelvo Jamás.” Concluding Morrison’s set, BMI’s Vice President of Latin Writer/Publisher Delia Orjuela also presented Morrison with a Certificate of Appreciation in celebration of her contributions to the world of Latin and Independent music.
