BMI’s New Stage Rocks LouFest

Broadcast Music, Inc. added another festival to its repertoire this weekend with the conclusion of the 4th annual LouFest in St. Louis, MO, this year featuring for the first time the BMI Stage. The stage featured a curated selection of the best of St. Louis, Nashville and national up-and-comers, ranging in genre from the funk of Space Capone to the hard-hitting hip-hop of St. Louis native Tef Poe and the infectious electro-pop of Wild Belle. The festival boasted its biggest attendance ever, topping 15,000 each day, and the consistent quality and entertainment emanating from the shady corner of Central Field in Forest Park that housed the BMI Stage was certainly a factor in the draw.
