BMI’s Tracie Verlinde Honored at Hollywood Independent Music Awards

BMI is very proud of our Vice President, Creative, Los Angeles, Tracie Verlinde, who was honored last week at the Hollywood Independent Awards at the Avalon Hollywood. As the inaugural recipient of the Outstanding Music Executive Award, Verlinde was recognized for her tireless efforts on behalf of indie songwriters. Verlinde’s prestigious accolade was presented to her by Pierre de Reeder of the celebrated Los Angeles indie band, Rilo Kiley.

As part of Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA), the Hollywood Independent Music Awards honors songwriters, artists, producers, record labels, publishers, audio engineers and behind-the-scenes professionals who are responsible for some of today’s finest independent music.
