BMI celebrated Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment artist Riley Green on Wednesday, February 11, in its Nashville lobby for the milestone success behind his most recent back-to-back No. One hits, “Worst Way” and “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Both chart toppers serve as two of the five solely written standouts off his latest album, Don’t Mind If I Do (Deluxe). The 3x-Platinum hit “Worst Way” is Green’s sixth career No. One and made him the first Country artist since Taylor Swift to land back-to-back solo-written No. One singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The afternoon was hosted by BMI’s Clay Bradley, as Green received commemorative plaques from Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. BMLG’s Scott Borchetta and NHRE’s Jimmy Harnen and Ryan Dokke presented Green with No. One plaques for “Don’t Mind If I Do” and “Worst Way,” along with a gold plaque for “Change My Mind,” his current single and fastest-rising track at country radio to date. They also announced that “Worst Way” is now certified 3X-Platinum by the RIAA.

Sponsored by Studio Bank, the evening included a donation presentation made by Kari Barnhart on behalf of Green in support of The Buford Bonds Charitable Fund.
