BMI Veterans and Newcomers Win at MTV VMAs

Whether it was veteran Broadcast Music, Inc. writer Taylor Swift taking home the award for Best Female Video or newcomer Austine Mahone walking away with the Artist to Watch statuette, the diversity and depth of the BMI roster was on display at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Other highlights of the evening included Seattle duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis continuing their impressive streak of commercial success, taking home three awards and performing an emotionally charged rendition of “Same Love.” Check out the full list of BMI wins below.
