BMI Theatre Workshop to Present Winter ‘Smoker’
The Drama League, Drama Desk and Tony® honored BMI/Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop will present its winter “Smoker,” an evening of songs written and performed by recent members of the renowned workshop. The event, which is free and open to the public with RSVP, will take place at 5PM on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at BMI’s New York office (7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich St., 30th floor Media Room.) Composers and lyricists who will perform include: Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel; Gary Apple and Paul Libman; Ben Boecker; Nathan Brisby and Lizzie Hagstedt; Jamie Cowperthwait and Ok Kyun Kang; Tom Gualtieri and David Sisco; Matthew Hardy and Randy Klein; Daniel Lee and David Carl; Mary Liz McNamara; Deb Poppel and Will Buck; Andy Roninson; Kevin Wanzor and Andrew Fox; Ben Wexler; and Barry Wyner and Dan Israel.
