BMI presented the “How I Wrote That Song” panel during the Tejano Music Convention, held August 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas. The panel highlighted a trio of Latin music’s most elite songwriters, including Ramón González Mora (“Te Vi Con El” “Pedazos de Cristal”), Robert Pulido (“Mi Pequenito” “Corazon Maldito”) and Sunny Sauceda (“Si No Vuelvo Ver Manana” “Sin Buenas Condiciones”), who performed their hits and discussed songwriting strategy and technique. The largest Latin music convention in the United States, the Tejano Music National Convention serves as an industry and fan crossroads created to advance the Tejano (Tex-Mex) music genre.
