BMI Hosts a ‘Howdy’ Good Time at SXSW
BMI hosted “Howdy Texas,” an invitation-only kick off party at the 2008 SXSW Music Festival in Austin on March 11 at Stubb’s. The event attracted over 300 guests who were treated to Stubb’s famous barbeque and live performances by jaw-dropping soul/gospel synergist Mike Farris; and gracefully dexterous guitarist, singer and composer Kaki King.
