BMI Helps Fete Longtime Restaurant Association Head

BMI was on hand to help the Maine Restaurant Association celebrate the career of their President & CEO Dick Grotton, who is retiring in January after nearly 20 years on the job, at a special banquet held recently (10/15/13) at the Harrasekett Inn in Freeport, ME.

BMI paid tribute to the restaurant association executive by bringing in award-winning BMI songwriter Aaron Barker to honor Grotton with a special acoustic performance of the many hits he has written for such country artists as George Strait, Lonestar and Clay Walker.  Grotton has been a longtime friend to BMI, helping the company forge stronger relationships with the restaurant associations over the last two decades.
