BMI Congratulates its MusicRow Award Nominees

Nashville’s longest running music industry trade publication honors, the MusicRow Awards, have named several BMI songwriters as 2016 nominees. Winners will be revealed during a private ceremony at BMI’s Nashville office on Wednesday, June 29. Here’s the list of BMI affiliates who received the prestigious nods:

A Thousand Horses - Breakthrough Artist of the Year

Cam - Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Burning House”

Chris Janson - Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Buy Me a Boat”

Dave Cobb - Producer of the Year

Eric Church - Song of the Year for “Record Year”

Jay Joyce - Producer of the Year and Song of the Year for “Record Year”

Jeff Bhasker - Song of the Year for “Burning House”

Jeff Hyde - Song of the Year for “Record Year”

Jody Stevens - Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year

Lori McKenna - Song of the Year for “Humble and Kind”

Maren Morris - Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year

Tyler Johnson - Song of the Year for “Burning House”
