BMI Congratulates its 2016 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Nominees

The Songwriters Hall of Fame, dedicated to recognizing the work and lives of composers and lyricists who create popular music around the world, has announced its slate of 2016 nominees, which includes 14 BMI-affiliated writers. The final inductees will be celebrated at the SHOF Annual Induction & Awards Gala on June 9, 2016, in New York City.

Bios and photos of the 2016 nominees can be found on the songhall.org website. Eligible voting members will have until December 11, 2015, to turn in their ballots with their choices of three nominees from the non-performing category, two from the performing category and one from the deceased category. For information on joining or renewing as a voting member, please go to songhall.org/join before November 2 to participate in this election.
