BMI Composer Steve Jablonsky Scores Blockbuster Film ‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ and Receives 2014 BMI Film/TV Award

BMI Director, Film/TV Relations Anne Cecere was recently on hand at Sony Pictures scoring stage during BMI composer Steve Jablonsky’s scoring session for Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film Transformers: Age Of Extinction starring Mark Wahlberg. The Michael Bay directed film opened on June 27 and is the biggest worldwide opening of 2014. Jablonsky has scored all of the “Transformers” films in the series. Also in attendance at the scoring session was President of Motion Picture Music, Paramount Pictures Randy Spendlove. During a brief break at the Transformers scoring session, BMI’s Anne Cecere presented Jablonsky with the 2014 BMI Film/TV award for his score of Universal Pictures action-drama Lone Survivor.
