Broadcast Music, Inc. Director, Film/TV Relations, Anne Cecere, recently attended a recording session by BMI composer and songwriter Danny Jacob for Phineas and Ferb at Disney Studios in Burbank, CA. Jacob was in great company at the session, which included Phineas and Ferb show creators and co-songwriting partners Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh. Also in on the recording session action was actress and singer Ashley Tisdale, who can be heard as the voice of Phineas and Ferb’s character, Candace. Over the years, the Disney show has been nominated for several awards and in 2010 won the Emmy for Outstanding Writing in Animation, the same year in which it was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition.
