BMI Celebrates 3 Million+ Performances of ‘Green Tambourine’

Broadcast Music, Inc.’s Senior Vice President, Writer/Publisher Relations, Phil Graham (on right), recently awarded John Fogarty of Minder Music and its affiliate Taking Care of Business Music with a BMI certificate for 3 million plus performances of “Green Tambourine.” The song, which was written by BMI songwriters Paul Leka and Shelley Pinz, was a hit for The Lemon Pipers in the late ‘60s, peaking at #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
