BMI Brings in American Idol Finalist to Entertain Maine Hoteliers

BMI was on hand to provide the musical entertainment for the opening night reception at the Maine Innkeepers Association’s 92nd Annual Meeting & Conference held recently (11/6/13) in Portland. American Idol finalist Paul McDonald delivered a heartfelt acoustic set in front of executives from Maine’s lodging industry that featured a number of original tunes, including a song that appeared on the Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2 soundtrack. McDonald, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, finished 8th on American Idol season 10 and has shared the stage with the likes of Hanson, the Zac Brown Band, Sara Barielles and the Black Crowes.
