BMI & Weirdo Workshop Celebrate Avery Wilson’s Hit Single, “Kiss The Sky”

Earlier this month, BMI was happy to cosponsor, with Weirdo Workshop, the songwriting/production duo of Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony, and Belaire, an event in Atlanta titled “A Night with Avery Wilson” to celebrate Wilson’s hit single, “Kiss the Sky.” Recently cast as The Scarecrow in an upcoming revival of “The Wiz” on Broadway, Wilson and several cast members were in attendance, as well as Y’anna Crawley, V Bozeman, Deborah Cox, Claude Kelly and Kirk Franklin.
“The Wiz” opens on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre in March.
