BMI & Warner/Chappell Music Join Forces for Fourth Annual ‘Write On’ Song Camp
BMI and Warner/Chappell Music successfully completed their fourth annual two-day songwriting camp on August 8 and 9 at the Gibson Brands Showroom in Beverly Hills. The “Write On” song camp provided an opportunity for a variety of songwriters, producers and music makers to come together in a proactive and creative atmosphere, hone their skills, compose new songs and collaborate with other music creators they might not have previously worked with. This year’s participants included Rafael Lopez, Adriel Favela, Jose Talamantes, Katia Valenzuela, Beto Vargas, David Rolas, Karla Vallin, Stefano Vieni, Angela Davalos, Richie Peña, Olando Vitto, Andie Sandoval, Ximena Muñoz, Isra De Corcho, Becca King, Jason Reeves, Francisca Valenzuela, Maye Osorio, Daniel Sobrino, Roco, Mike Bahia, TJ Routon, Anya Marina, and Zac Poor.
The camp concluded with a listening party, providing the opportunity for participants to perform 19 new original songs that will be pitched by BMI and Warner/Chappell for potential placement opportunities.
