The California Hotel and Lodging Association marked their 2018 winter board meeting, which was held recently (3/6) at the Sheraton Grand in Sacramento, by partnering with BMI on bringing in award-winning songwriter Chas Sandford to perform at their annual dinner. Sandford has written some of pop music’s most iconic songs, including John Waite’s “Missing You,” which has received more than 8 million performances on radio, and Stevie Nicks’ smash hit “Talk to Me.” Sandford entertained the group of California hoteliers by playing his hits and telling the stories of how they came to be. The California Hotel & Lodging Association’s mission is to protect the rights and interests of their owners and operators while being their indispensable business resource.
