BMI Sponsors Inaugural Music Cork Conference in Ireland

BMI’s London office was proud to sponsor the first ever Music Cork conference in Cork, Ireland. Taking place over three days, the conference provided an extensive platform of music industry panels, showcases, and networking opportunities for artists and industry professionals. BMI’s Executive Director of Writer/Publisher Relations, Europe & Asia, Brandon Bakshi, joined the likes of Island Records’ President, Darcus Beese, and Warner/Chappell UK Managing Director, Mike Smith, in discussions covering multiple music industry related topics for conference goers.

Also sponsored by fellow performing rights organization, IMRO, as well as MCD and Livewire, Music Cork featured some of Ireland’s best new talent with stellar lineups at various showcases, including performances by Ryan McMullan, Lyra, Callum Stewart, and many more.
