BMI Songwriters Shine at Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Event
BMI partnered with the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association recently in presenting a songwriter showcase for association members and state legislators at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala. Award winning BMI songwriters Clint Daniels and Bridgette Tatum entertained the audience with some of their biggest hits and told the stories behind the songs. Daniels, a native of Lynn Haven, Florida, has written huge hits for the likes of Eric Church, Jon Pardi, and Joe Nichols, while Tatum, has written for Jason Aldean, Gretchen Wilson, and Randy Houser, among others. The Florence, SC native is set to go on tour with Trisha Yearwood. A longtime partner of BMI’s, the FRLA has more than 10,000 members and their mission is to protect, educate and promote Florida’s $111.7 billion hospitality industry.
