BMI Songwriter Helps Broadcast Executives Rise Above
BMI songwriter and Curb recording artist Hannah Ellis was the featured entertainment at the 2022 “Rising Above,” a virtual sales and management media summit. Ellis performed an inspired set of original songs, including “Us,” which is her latest single that was released to country radio late last year. The Campbellsville, Kentucky native was named by Rolling Stone magazine as an “Artist to Watch,” and was part of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” tour. She has also shared the stage with the likes of Devin Dawson, Dwight Yoakum and Gavin DeGraw, and made her Grand Ole Opry debut last year.
“Rising Above” is a day-and-a-half live virtual training event designed to teach, coach, inspire and motivate radio and television executives to rise above the challenges of today’s sales and management environment. This year’s online gathering attracted hundreds of broadcasters from virtually every state in the country.
