BMI Presents Know Them Now Experience: Ladies Night Edition for Women’s History Month

After the success of last year’s event, BMI brought the Know Them Now Experience: Ladies Night Edition back to Atlanta, on Wednesday, March 18, for a dazzling evening of music to celebrate Women’s History Month by an array of rising BMI affiliates. This private, invite-only event was held at MODEx Studio and was sponsored by Church’s Texas Chicken and Belaire. Among the attendees were GRAMMY-winning producer/songwriter Tricky Stewart, GRAMMY-winning DJ/music curator DJ Miss Milan, Vice President A&R of Warner Records Malita Rice, Sr. Director A&R at Atlantic Record Sammye Ruth Scott, actor Keith Robinson, actress Daphnée Duplaix, music, sport and entertainment attorney Donald Woodard, and many others. Guests were treated to intimate performances by BMI affiliates Journey Montana, Shaylin B and H3rizon, as well as sets by special guests Dondria and Marzz. Between performances, everyone enjoyed music spun by Jess Carp.
