BMI Presents at the Bluebird Cafe Wraps 2022 Season with War and Treaty

BMI wrapped up its 2022 season BMI Presents at the Bluebird Cafe shows with the iconic husband and wife duo, War and Treaty. The pair, Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, have been musical partners for several years, writing about and honoring our soldiers and their dedication to protect our country. Michael served in Iraq and has openly discussed his difficulty with post-traumatic stress disorder following his service. He has turned his pain into music, touching the lives of many and giving glory to those lives we have lost.

The monthly songwriter-in-the round series aims to highlight a diverse lineup of both emerging and established songwriters. The inaugural season featured performances by Dean Dillon, Scotty Emerick, Julia Cole, a historic performance from the Fisk Jubilee Singers, K. Michelle, Gabe Lee, Lauren Housley, Tristan Bushman, and more.

War and Treaty will be on The Lovers Game tour in 2023, stopping in Nashville on May 23rd. Click here to get your tickets!
