BMI Indie Spotlight: Wells Ferrari
Since first crossing paths at a songwriting session in Los Angeles in 2019, East Coast-born Will Wells and West Coast native Mikey Ferrari have forged a musically symbiotic partnership that mirrors a brotherhood. Bonding over classic rock like the Eagles and the Allman Brothers, the duo discovered an undeniable harmonic bliss through a truly even partnership, both lyrically and musically. Recruiting producer Garret Hall, the duo organized a weekend recording session at a rented, desolate destination near Joshua Tree National Park. The end results yielded Wells Ferrari’s debut EP, Roots and Tides, a stripped-down collection of earthy, honest songwriting that is confessional, conversational and pure, and a just released second EP, Wasted Time. A full-length debut LP is expected in 2026.
