BMI Indie Spotlight: May/June 2020
Ready or not, spring is well underway! Our reality may look a little different than it did this time last year, but the music never stops. In this edition of the Indie Spotlight, we’re shouting out up-and-coming rapper $NOT, the trailblazing powerhouse Audrey Nuna, and the enigmatic Bickle, an Atlanta-based artist whose new video “Naked” leaves little to the imagination. We’re also highlighting the unique stylings of bands like Sure Sure and mmmonika, and introducing the mega-talented, heart-on-their-sleeve singer/songwriters, Simone and Atarah Valentine.
