BMI Indie Spotlight: Lindsey Troy
Lindsey Troy first made her name as the searing vocalist and guitarist behind Deap Vally, whose cult legacy continues to inspire a new generation of rock heroines. With Deap Vally, she toured alongside Blondie, Garbage and Mumford & Sons, landed music placements in Peaky Blinders, The L Word and True Blood, and appeared in campaigns for brands including Ketel One and T-Mobile. The band also earned widespread praise from NME, NPR, Vogue, The Guardian, Cosmopolitan and more. Now confidently stepping into her next chapter as a solo artist, Lindsey is building on that storied history with new singles written in her Eagle Rock treehouse and recorded and produced in her analog home studio. Her debut solo releases have already drawn attention from SPIN, KCRW, Rolling Stone, BBC Radio 6, All New Rock and Spotify’s The New Alt, with a debut album and tour on the horizon.
