BMI Indie Spotlight: Jo Alice
Raised between Portugal and Ireland, the multilingual Jo Alice brings a diverse palette of influences to her music. A chance encounter in 2017 brought her to Los Angeles, launching her career as a musician. Now, after touring with acts like Spoon, Nicole Atkins, and Blind Pilot, she’s unveiling her debut LP, recorded in Austin with Britt Daniel, Mike McCarthy, and Stephen Patterson. Her debut single, “Give Me Some Good News (When I Call),” is out now, offering a first taste of her poetic lyrics and thoughtful melodies.
