BMI Indie Spotlight: Hembree

Posted in News on March 5, 2024

Hembree is an indie-rock band comprised of Isaac Flynn, Garrett Childers, Eric Davis, and brothers Alex and Austin Ward. Originally from Kansas City, the now LA-based group draws influence from both cities creating their own brand of infectious and danceable rock. Hembree quickly garnered national attention after their single “Holy Water” was placed in Apple’s Super Bowl LII commercial. The band gained further notoriety when its 2019 debut album, House on Fire, caught the attention of NPR, Rolling Stone, and Billboard. Hembree released its sophomore album, It’s a Dream!, in 2022 featuring hits “Reach Out” and “Operators.” The group’s latest singles, “Younger” and “No Tears Left to Cry” are now available for streaming.
