BMI Duo Strikes A Chord of Positivity at Virtual Broadcast Summit
BMI provided the featured entertainment recently (1/28) at “Rising Above: Climbing Higher,” a day-and-a-half live virtual training event designed to teach, coach, inspire and motivate radio and television executives to rise above the challenges of today’s sales and management environment. The dynamic country duo, LOCASH, comprised of BMI songwriters Preston Brust and Chris Lucas, dazzled the audience of more than 1000 broadcasters with an inspired and spirited virtual set of their biggest hits, including their gold certified # 1 smashes “I Know Somebody” and “One Big Country Song” as well as their first big hit “I Love This Life.” The Rising Above event featured lessons from the top trainers in the business including hosts Derron Steenbergen and Speed Marriott. LOCASH’s latest single,“Beers to Catch Up On,” is out on country radio now.
