BMI Congratulates Regina Spektor and C. Carson Parks on GMS Wins

Last night, the Guild of Music Supervisors held its awards ceremony at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, with BMI songwriters Regina Spektor and C. Carson Parks taking major wins in film and TV: Spektor for “One Little Soldier” from Bombshell (Best Song Written and/or Recorded for a Film) and Parks for “Something Stupid” from Better Call Saul (Best Song Written and/or Recorded for Television).

The annual event marked the tenth anniversary of the GMS, which is a non-profit organization with the goal of preserving and promoting the critical role of the Music Supervisor within all forms of media. The Guild holds numerous educational and networking events throughout the year, including the annual State of Music in Media Conference at LA Film School.
