BMI is proud to congratulate composer Ludwig Göransson for winning the Best Original Score award for his work on Oppenheimer at Sunday night’s 81st Golden Globe Awards. Christopher Nolan’s box-office-busting epic biographical film also earned four other awards, including the coveted Best Motion Picture Drama.

Last night’s accolade is Göransson’s first Golden Globe win. He was previously nominated for Best Original Song for “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2023, Best Original Score for 2021’s Tenet and Best Original Score for 2019’s Black Panther.
