BMI Congratulates Its Billboard Latin Music Award 2020 Nominees
BMI songwriters were once again singled out for their incomparable contributions to Latin music as the list for the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Awards was announced. At the front of the pack of nominees comes Ozuna, who received a striking fourteen nods, including Artist of the Year, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male and Songwriter of the Year, among many others. J Balvin’s work was also recognized with nods for twelve different awards, also including Artist of the Year, Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male and Songwriter of the Year. Puerto Rican rapper/singer/songwriter Anuel AA made a strong showing with eleven nominations, including Social Artist of the Year and Hot Latin Song Artist of the Year; Male, among several others. Panamanian newcomer Sech also made his presence felt with seven nominations, most notably Artist of the Year, New and Top Latin Album of the Year for Sueños.
The ceremony will broadcast live on Thursday, April 23 via Telemundo.
