The votes are in and BMI’s talented songwriters once again took the majority of wins at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards, which was streamed from three iconic Nashville venues, the Grand Ole Opry House, Ryman Auditorium and Bluebird Café. Although the event adhered to social distancing practices with limited live audiences, the incredible performances were top notch. Among the many who gave their all were Carrie Underwood, who was joined by Gospel legend CeCe Winans, as well as Maren Morris, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Luke Combs and Blake Shelton. Additionally, the presentation was stellar with hosts Mickey Guyton and Keith Urban, who also gave powerful performances.
