BMI Congratulates its 2018 Latin American Music Award Winners

BMI is very proud to congratulate its affiliates who walked away with well-earned trophies from last night’s Latin American Music Awards, which were held at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater and broadcast live on Telemundo. Among the big winners of the evening, CNCO claimed three prominent awards for Favorite Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Pop Album for their eponymous 2018 album. Ozuna also took home three awards for Favorite Urban Artist, as well as Album of the Year and Favorite Urban Album, both for Odisea. Other notable accolades included Song of the Year going to BMI President’s Award honoree Luis Fonsi & Demi Lovato for “Échame La Culpa” and Favorite Crossover Artist going to Camila Cabello.

Beyond the awards, the evening featured memorable performances by the triumphant CNCO, as well as a powerful rendition of “Ellas Soy Yo” by BMI President’s Award recipient Gloria Trevi.
