BMI Composers Enhance Diverse Storytelling at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival

Posted in News on May 6, 2021

BMI is exceptionally proud of its many talented composers who have their music featured in projects at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Celebrating its twentieth anniversary starting Wednesday, June 9, and running until Sunday, June 20, the 2021 festival mixes both live events and an immersive virtual experience. We are excited that films featuring the incomparable work of BMI creators like Mandy Hoffman, Patrick Stump, Anna Drubich, Julien Baker and Ceiri Torjussen are being recognized. Additionally, this year’s festival includes films from 2020 that may have been undiscovered during the height of the pandemic, meaning titles featuring the scores of outstanding BMI composers like Gene Back, Laura Karpman and Ossei Osed will enjoy their richly-deserved time in the spotlight.

Below is a list of films being recognized by the festival that include the work of BMI composers and songwriters. To learn more about all the films being featured and this year’s full agenda, visit the official website of the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.
